Our products
NorFalk’s surfactants are produced exclusively from local resources and recycled resources. The actual production of surfactants is done with a technology that is less harmful to the environment. Among other things, by using enzymes in our production, we differ from the conventional manufacturing method that uses fossil-based chemicals.

Soap
In Soaps, the surfactants give the washing effect. The oil-loving part of the surfactants encapsulates the “oily dirt” on our skin where the water-loving part of the surfactant helps transport the dirt into the water and away. The normal content of surfactant in soaps is between 10 – 20 weight %.ogy that is less harmful to the environment. Detergent
In Detergents, the surfactants give the washing effect. The oil-loving part of the surfactants encapsulates the “oily dirt” on our clothes, where the water-loving part of the surfactant helps transport the dirt into the water and away. The normal content of surfactant in detergents is between 10 – 15 weight %.
Cosmetics
In Cosmetics, the surfactants help mix the normal immiscible water phase and oil phase together. This gives an emulsion and thereby a “creamy consistency” in the final cosmetic product.
The amount of surfactants in cosmetic products varies with the application. In a moisturizing lotion, the surfactant amount is around 5 weight %.
